Limiting the learning experience to books & attending large congresses is not sufficient anymore in order to be prepared for the medical & legal requirements doctors facing nowadays. On the one hand we see that the healthcare and treatment standards increase significantly which consequently leads to lower risk for mother and child. On the other hand documentation and legal claims against employees in the labour ward also increase dramatically. Therefore, one of our goals is to support and teach you in order to coop/ meet the new requirements.
In addition to that, our industry is facing significant challenges such as increasing quality management standards, & documentation requirements set by the regulator within an economic environment of medical staff, treatment time & cost reductions. This strongly indicates that for young doctors “learning on the job” by just walking alongside the medical specialist is not sufficient anymore.
With the intention of improving the skill set and knowledgebase of doctors and midwifes we developed a compelling two day training program. Our team consist of the leading obstetricians who will train you in small groups and be on hand with help and advice for you while practicing in one-on-one sessions. Additionally, our team consists of distinguished lawyers who will cover any legal matters relevant to your profession.
With the intention of maximising the knowledge consumption, the hands on trainings and lecture sessions alternate. Therefore, small groups will be created which optimises leaning outcomes for you. Our leading experts use modern teaching techniques such as phantoms to demonstrate and train but also engaging anonymous TED systems to improve the individual learning experience.
The latter will especially be used for the CTG course. This technique is highly engaging and allows for correcting ones interpretation by always matching it with the expert’s evaluation. This optimises/ sensitises the ability to analyse the fetal heart rate.
After participating successfully you will receive a certificate that confirms that one has been trained under the latest medical and legal standards.
